2010 Bring-Home-A-Friend Launching

Bring Home A Friend is a program of the Department of Tourism a few years ago.  But due to the continuous changing of administrators both in the national government as well as in the department itself, the project was stopped.
The City Government of Iligan, in its desire to improve its tourists influx, decided to revived it and adopt it as a flagship project of the City Tourism Office.  As a result, the project was launched in 2010 with full support of the people of Iligan.  Participating agencies came from the hotels, restaurants, lodging houses, inns and even from the private sector who saw the potential of the program as a good tool to enhancing tourists arrivals in the city.
The pictures below will tell us the complete story of its new beginnings.

Some guests already brought in their friend, way from far, far away land.

Who'd expect such a great turn-out not just of locals but of the tourists and expats as well.

Everyone was proud in wearing their "Bring Home A Friend" Button!
